    My ears began to pick up those oh-so-subtle sounds which the metal core had blocked out before. The music was blaring- and even though it wasn't playing in this room- it was from the stereos on stage, I could still hear it plain as day, and I instinctively recognized the rough, somewhat hoarse voice that was yelling something that most would think inaudible.

Just got finished watching the anime Wolf's Rain. I don't really want to give any of it away in case one of you reading this wants to watch it for themselves, but it is an excellent anime as well as manga (though personally I like the anime better because it's longer).
